Gamers can check out the most played games and other stats of 2023 in the PlayStation Wrap-Up and Xbox Year in Review.
The PlayStation Wrap-Up and Xbox Year in Review are now available, allowing gamers to view and share their gaming highlights of 2023. Year-end summary tools offer users a variety of personalized statistics. Summary of what games were played and for how long, what trophies were unlocked and more.
They follow a similar format to Spotify Wrapped and Apple Music Replay. These users collect their most listened-to music into easy-to-share images that are popular on social media platforms every December.
The PlayStation Wrap-Up will be available and shared until January 12, 2024, and it will include new digital cards highlighting key game stats. Players can also redeem a unique avatar and a PlayStation Stars digital collectible. The former depicts a Marvel’s Spider-Man Spider-Bot.
Xbox Year in Review is available until January 31, 2024, in select markets. According to Microsoft, the Xbox community played 36,000 games last year. It also unlocked 4.5 billion achievements and earned 91 billion Gamerscore in the process.
A tweet from Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed that he has amassed more than 900 hours of Xbox game time so far this year.
Earlier this week, Google published a list of the ten most searched video games of 2023. At the top of the list is Hogwarts Legacy, an open-world spin-off of the Harry Potter series.
