Fortnite: Crossover Between Solid Snake And A Popular Cartoon Series Character In-Game!

Metal Gear Solid series protagonist Solid Snake and a bunch of franchise-themed extras are now available in Fortnite, thanks to a new update.

Solid Snake has become the latest character to join the ever-expanding Fortnite universe. The massive battle royale is known for adding skins depicting familiar characters and icons from both gaming and pop culture. A Fortnite and Family Guy crossover is currently in the works. This is just the latest in a long line of exciting collaborations.

However, the latest update finally brings Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise to Fortnite, along with some items and goodies that fans of the acclaimed series will surely appreciate.

Snake is far from the first video game icon to join Fortnite. Kratos, Aloy, Master Chief, and Lara Croft, to name a few, are all beloved game characters that have appeared in previous seasons. Fortnite isn’t just relying on Family Guy and Metal Gear Solid to lure players. Fans can currently obtain My Hero Academia skins in Fortnite through the in-game store.

Fortnite v28.10 update finally allows players to unlock Solid Snake with the Big Bang Battle Pass. With the update, Fortnite fans can now access the character. As well as a bunch of quests to unlock various items, clothes, emoticons, banner icons and loading screens. The current Battle Pass is required to unlock Snake and his many extras. The Big Bang Battle Pass for Chapter 5 – Season 1 can be purchased for 950 V-Bucks; 1000 V-Bucks can be purchased in the in-game store for $8.99.

The latest Fortnite update includes two pages of Battle Pass missions that unlock Snake-centric accessories.

Completing tasks such as hiding in a cardboard box unlocks a new loading screen. By knocking out entire pages, new Solid Snake skins become available. The various quests will remain open until March 8, 2024, at 2:00 AM ET. This probably means the end of the current season.

In addition to the inclusion of Snake, several updates were implemented. As well as a handful of new weekly Fortnite missions. Not to mention that the team has patched in some balance tweaks and bug fixes.

Also, Peter Griffin is still part of the current Battle Pass. The Family Guy face had long been rumoured to be joining Fortnite before his inclusion. Players need to reach level 70 to unlock the muscular version of the adult animated comedy icon. Gilded and ornate character versions can also be unlocked by completing bonus reward pages.
