PlayStation Plus Essential: What Will We Get For 2024’s Second Month?

On the last day of the month, we finally found out which titles will be available for free in February, regardless of your PlayStation Plus subscription tier.

Unfortunately, this time we didn’t get a leak from billbil-kun (who has leaked PlayStation information several times lately, so it’s a strange situation… did Sony pay him to keep quiet?), so we had to wait until 17:30 our time to find out what games will be free for all PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers in February.

The first game is Foamstars (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), a 4v4 online team shooter. The second title on our list is Rollerdrome (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), also a shooter (TPS). The third game is Steelrising (PlayStation 5), set in an alternate history of Paris during the French Revolution. PlayStation Plus members will receive the Fall Guys Icons Pack as an extra (Ratchet – Full Costume, Clank – Full Costume, Aloy – Full Costume, Groovitron – Emote, Clank’s Laugh – Emote, Lombax – Pattern, Clank – Pattern, Seeker – Pattern, Ratchet – Color, Clank – Color, Ratchet – Name Plate, Clank – Name Plate, Horizon – Name Plate, Aloy – Face Plate, Ratchet – Face Plate, Clank – Face Plate, Seeker – Nickname). The games will be available until March 4th. PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members can also access a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trial from February 6.

As always, here’s a reminder of the games that became PlayStation Plus Essential in January. They’re still available until February 5, so there’s still time to catch up on the games you missed. The three games still available to download this week are Plague Tale: Requiem (PlayStation 5); Evil West (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4); and Nobody Saves the World (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). In addition, there’s also the Warframe: Syrinx Collection with an exclusive PlayStation Plus pack. The free-to-play sci-fi FPS pack from Digital Extremes includes a Syrinx Chest, Shoulder and Leg Plates, a Baza Rifle, a Cassowar Polearm, the Storm Color Palette, the Essential Base Damage Mod Pack, the Essential Critical Damage Mod Pack, two Orokin Catalysts, 170 Platinum, a 7-Day Affinity Booster, and a 7-Day Credit Booster.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
