[SOP 2024] “Improved” Version Of Until Dawn Coming?! Here’s The Fresh & Crisp Trailer! [VIDEO]

Until Dawn, formerly of Supermassive Games and now developed by Ballistic Moon, is coming to PS5 and PC in 2024.

Many players have already forgotten about Until Dawn. But recently, rumours started circulating on social media, and it was finally announced at the State of Play. It is an interactive horror title that has only been released for PS4 so far. It will soon land on other platforms for others to enjoy. A new version of Supermassive Games’ creation is in the works, this time edited by a different studio.

As you can see in the video below, PlayStation has announced a new version of Until Dawn. According to the announcement, the horror title will arrive on PS5 and PC in 2024, and it is also a “reworked and improved” title.

In addition, the developers tried to sew up the wrinkles on it so it also moves with the times from a technical point of view.

Ballistic Moon is responsible for the project. And the release is done by PlayStation Studios itself. The original game tells the story of eight friends. They reunite after two of their companions disappeared a year ago during a mysterious mountain event. The story unfolds, and the fate of all the characters depends solely on your decisions and the Butterfly Effect. We face many dangers and terrifying situations. In addition, we have to be very agile because of the QTEs (quick time events) presented to us.

A film version of Until Dawn is also in the works

It’s been a bit under the radar, but an Until Dawn movie was recently announced. PlayStation Productions and Screen Gems are responsible for the project. We also know the names of those behind it. The director will be David F. Sandberg, who directed Shazam! was its director. Now, he returns to a genre where he already has experience.

Gary Dauberman, who has worked on films such as It, Annabelle, and The Nun, oversees the screenplay.

It is clear that there is still some time until we can see the film on the cinema screen. But the announcement of the Until Dawn movie was not liked by everyone, since according to the game’s designer, “they lose the meaning of making a movie”. After all, the decisions were made by the players, and a movie cannot reflect that…
