Outcast: A New Beginning Got A Demo, It’s Now Available! [VIDEO]

Twenty-five years after the first episode, the second is coming soon, and Appeal Studios’ game is ready for you to try.

THQ and Appeal Studios have released a demo of the third-person action-adventure game a month before its release, and you can find it on all three target platforms. The demo describes an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking world of Adelpha in Outcast: A New Beginning. You can engage in fast-paced third-person combat, harness the power of your jetpack, explore beautiful landscapes, and help the local Talan in their rebellion.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the fascinating alien realm of Adelpha, uncover its secrets, and enjoy the funniest dad jokes in the galaxy, expertly delivered by our hero, Cutter Slade. Offering a slightly self-deprecating yet wholesome take on sci-fi themes and tropes, Outcast brings a sense of fun to a planetary uprising against ruthless robotic invaders.

Weapon upgrades, aliens, and monsters (who can also be predators) are all present in this open-world action adventure. Play as Cutter Slade, ex-Navy SEAL, and gain the trust of the local Talan. Engage in guerrilla warfare, such as destroying enemy ammunition convoys to cripple bases, and freely choose where to launch the next attack to determine the success of the Talan uprising. The stakes are high, but Cutter Slade brings dry humor to the forefront, adding a touch of wit to the intense storyline. Rediscover the awe-inspiring game world that recalls the beloved Outcast 1, while offering something entirely new and accessible to newcomers. Every corner is full of wonder and surprise!

Outcast: A New Beginning will be released on March 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PC (Steam). The demo is already available on both consoles and Valve’s platform.
