Dragon’s Dogma 2: Could There Be Serious Problems With The PC Version?!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is only a day away from release, and some early PC players are experiencing significant frame rate issues…

According to recent reports, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is experiencing frame rate issues on PC. But Capcom is aware of the situation. With only a day left until the game’s release, the team behind the game hopes to fix the issues quickly.

The first Dragon’s Dogma game was released in 2012, over ten years ago, so anticipation for the upcoming sequel is high.

To get many fans excited, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator has been made available even before the game’s release. This way, players can get a feel for what the action RPG has in store for them even before the release. The early reveal of the character creator added to the excitement of many fans.

The game seems to have frame rate issues on PC. Capcom is fully aware of the situation as the company hopes to fix the issue soon. However, it’s unlikely they can do much until the game is released. So players waiting for the game to arrive on PC can prepare themselves to experience this particular issue.

Frame rate issues in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Capcom has addressed concerns about frame rate issues. They claim that the reason is probably due to the number of NPCs in that area. When contacted by IGN, Capcom stated that the level of content within certain areas is causing the frame rate to drop. Some of these drops are reported by early players to be around 30-40 FPS, so performance is quite inconsistent.

A Capcom spokesperson stated: “In certain situations where numerous characters appear simultaneously, the CPU usage can be very high and may affect the frame rate”.

The team behind Dragon’s Dogma 2 is looking for solutions to improve the game’s performance in the future. Unfortunately, no specific time frame was given. As the title promises exciting gameplay, frame rate issues can hamper players’ gaming experience.

Hopefully, Capcom will quickly find a solution that improves and maintains the framerate better than the drops experienced by some early players. Frame rate issues can be incredibly frustrating. With Dragon’s Dogma 2 being such a highly anticipated game, hopefully, these issues won’t be too bad at release.
