Dragon’s Dogma 2: Here Are The First Experiences With The Map And Character Creation!

Capcom designed the map of Dragon’s Dogma 2 so that players don’t feel the need for backs.

Like many other fantasy RPGs, Dragon’s Dogma 2 aims to provide a unique experience with epic stories, fairytale characters and spectacular magic. However, Capcom also wants to stand out from the rest with its open-world design. In several interviews, the creators talked about how the map will be a varied and extremely enjoyable terrain for the player. And now, days before the game’s final release, the team reminds us again of their philosophy on the construction of the location of the adventure.

According to Hideaki Itsuno, the director of Dragon’s Dogma 2, in an interview with Automaton media, the Capcom team had only one goal when designing the world: to make it fun.

“Our goal was to make the ride so enjoyable that players wouldn’t feel the need to use a horse,” he said in the interview. “We built a lot of ‘fun’ into the course to keep players from getting bored on the trail, and our development policy was to make it painful to ride the horse.”

What’s more, the team wants the player to forgo fast travel to fully explore the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2: “I think in games that use unlimited fast travel, the focus is on content between travels, but in Dragon’s Dogma 2, the focus is also on the experience of the trip itself,” explains Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, the game’s producer, in the same interview.

The sky’s the limit with Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character editor

A Dragon’s Dogma 2 player recreated actor Timothee Chalamet using the game’s character creator. The long-awaited action RPG has released its in-depth character creator. This proved to be an excellent pastime for many while waiting for the game.

With Dragon’s Dogma 2 coming out next week, a preview of the game’s character creator has been released ahead of release, and many players have been enjoying the feature.

For many fans of the RPG genre, character creation is an exciting start to a game. The game’s character creator has proven to be one of the best in recent times. So far, some fans have recreated the likes of Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen and a hilariously terrifying-looking version of Pikachu. All this clearly shows how versatile the function can be. It’s easy to spend a lot of time with the game’s character builder. Most recently, a player used the feature to recreate a creepy version of one of Hollywood’s most popular actors.

A Reddit user known as Professional-Sample6 recreated Timothee Chalamet using Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator, and the result is impressively accurate.

From the facial structure to the hair, Professional-Sample6 absolutely nailed Chalamet’s likeness. As Timothee Chalamet continues to conquer Hollywood with a growing list of major roles, it’s no surprise that someone wants to recreate the actor in the game. The creator behind the re-creation worked on the actor’s face for three hours! It is clear that he succeeded in achieving his goal. Professional-Sample6’s post received many comments praising him for the amount of detail and effort he put into his work.
