Firewalk Studios is developing this new PvP game, Concord, which will be released later this year.

 

 

Although it has reduced its commitment in this area, PlayStation still has an eye on many multiplayer video games. One is called Concord. It was revealed at last night’s State of Play with two trailers (see the end of this article) that show us a PvP sci-fi action shooter. The game’s character introduction has a kind of Guardians of the Galaxy vibe. However, its game mechanics are similar to that of the hero shooter Overwatch.

Concord is officially announced as a multiplayer sci-fi shooter with 5v5 skirmishes where players have the power to change the rules of the game for their team.

As with so many other genre offerings, Firewalk Studios’ development will allow for a wide variety of characters and roles to choose from. Each of these has unique abilities and personalities. We will have to prove ourselves against rival teams of Freegunners during daring space heists. The production will come with multiple game modes, as well as exotic and fantastical maps spanning an entire galaxy.

 

 

 

 

Firewalk Studios emphasized in the game’s presentation that it aims to create a finely tuned and balanced multiplayer first-person shooter that will be familiar to genre regulars. At the same time, Freegunners strives to stand out with its versatility and variety. Each Freegunner’s abilities are designed to be effective for players of all skill levels and playstyles. They should be a success even for those new to the genre. Meanwhile, they provide additional challenge and depth for those looking for high-stakes PvP.

 

Concord is a constantly evolving video game

 

Concord hits stores on August 23 for PC and PS5. Before that, players will have one more golden opportunity to enjoy the game in a beta test. All players who pre-order the game from June 6 can sign up for the latter.

According to Sony, this test version will not arrive until the end of summer – needless to say, as a game-as-a-service, this is just the beginning.

Initially, the game comes with 16 characters. But Concord is guaranteed to grow over time with regular, free updates that introduce new Freegunners, levels, game modes, stories, and more.
