MOVIE NEWS – Last year, Hugh Grant solemnly swore never to appear in a romantic comedy again, even though the ink may have already dried on his contract, according to which he signed the fourth Bridget Jones movie. Maybe he didn’t make a serious vow, or maybe he has the money, which is why one finally commits to romance.
“I’m getting too old, fat and ugly, so I’m not going to do romantic comedies anymore, I’m going to do much more interesting things instead,” said the great British actor last year on The Barrymore Show.
Compared to this, the film called Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is in full swing, in which Grant plays Daniel Cleaver for the third time . (The character did not appear in the previous film, Bridget Jones is Expecting a Baby, but even more so in the first two.)
Bridget is played again by Renée Zellweger and Emma Thompson also returns as the gynecologist. The story: Bridget is raising two children, grieving her husband Mark Darcy, and wondering if she should get back into the dating world. The answer is of course clear.
