Trust: A Vampire FPS by the Developers of Forgive Me Father [VIDEO]

Byte Barrel has also joined the rest, so they’re using the same engine as many others, as the studio known for Forgive Me Father has also chosen Unreal Engine 5.

Trust is a first-person shooter with immersive sim elements where you play as a vampire who has awoken from a centuries-long slumber. Once powerful, now exhausted and weak, you must find a way to survive in a world where the hunter has become the hunted. The world you knew is long gone. Discovering the truth about the immense power of vampire blood has changed the course of the war between humanity and the creatures of the night. Unfortunately, your kind is not on the winning side. Blood reactors and batteries from vampire hearts have begun to generate electricity for entire cities, powering cars and everyday objects as well as deadly weapons. The fate of your kind rests in your hands. Who will be the last one standing in this unequal struggle between two blood-obsessed species?

On your path to regaining power, you can choose to fight openly with humans, using their technology and weapons, or remain true to your vampire abilities, allowing you to achieve your goals undetected. But remember, either way you need the most precious substance in the world to function. Hunt for blood and satisfy your insatiable hunger. Enter a comic book world where you, as a vampire, restore the natural order. Immerse yourself in hand-drawn ’90s-style environments rich in detail and mystery. Experience the comic book aesthetic, creating a unique atmosphere that deepens your immersion in a world full of mystery and unknown possibilities.

There’s always another way to reach your goal. Stay in the shadows and rely on stealth and cunning, or throw yourself into the heat of battle. Use your surroundings to your advantage with numerous interactive objects scattered throughout the world. Each run offers a different experience, allowing everyone to find their own play style. Known as nocturnal predators, vampires are not particularly fond of daylight, which can turn them into a pile of ashes in a matter of seconds. But the tough situation you find yourself in requires action not only at night, but during the day as well. Depending on the time of day, you will have a different objective to accomplish on each level.

Trust is currently announced for PC (Steam) only. No release date is known.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
