Harry Potter in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2?! No One Expected This Easter Egg [VIDEO]

We don’t know if there’s any magic in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, but there is one Harry Potter easter egg that fans of the series will definitely want to find…

If you’re looking for a new reason to dive into the dangerous open world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and you’re a big Harry Potter fan, then pay attention! The guys at GSC Game World love J.K. Rowling’s saga, and they’ve hidden a cute little easter egg on the map that you’ll definitely recognize. Of course, if you’re playing the game right now and don’t want to spoil the surprise, keep scrolling!

Harry Potter Lost in the Zone

Well, if you’re curious, all you have to do is press play on the video at the end of the article, and you’ll see exactly where the little tribute that the Ukrainian development team wanted to give fans of the wizarding world of Harry Potter is. Specifically, in one of the locations in the Exclusion Zone, where S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl takes place, you can see a strangely familiar car crashing into a tree. A closer look quickly reveals that it’s a Ford Anglia, and not just any Ford Anglia, but the same one that Harry and Ron used to get to Hogwarts in Chamber of Secrets, and which, if you remember, the Whomping Willow was trying to smash into pieces.

We say “similar” because the license plate of the flying car, as far as we can tell, does not look identical to the Weasleys’ Ford England, which disappeared from the Harry Potter saga after having a minor role at the end of the story. Maybe it headed to Ukraine after its bad experiences with Harry and Ron?

As the GameStar staff reminds us, the landmark in question is hidden in the swamps, a very undesirable region where it is not worth staying in the game world, but we will have to wander through it as part of the primary mission. By the way, the tree on which the car rests does nothing, although who knows if the radiation will eventually bring it to life in the future…

We know from many fans that there are many other references and Easter eggs in the open world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 – if you feel like it, share some with us in the comments!
