Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet – Will Naughty Dog’s New Game Feature Horror Elements? [VIDEO]

A Spanish YouTuber, Joanastic, has put together this element of what Naughty Dog is actually up to with their new IP.

It seems that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will contain horror elements, this information has been found by Joanastic, a Spanish YouTube user. He usually talks about Naughty Dog projects. Joanastic found out about the direction Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might take from a publication by Tye Martinez, a self-taught artist with over 10 years of experience specializing in horror and suspense film concepts (who worked as a concept artist for Naughty Dog).

What Tye Martinez is doing is amazing, because it’s a huge success for Naughty Dog. You can see more of his work on his Instagram, where he also mentions that he worked on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. On his Twitter account, he wrote: “It’s a crazy feeling, can’t wait to play something I’ve put some of my brain into. Colin Lorimer, a visual artist at Naughty Dog who worked on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at Naughty Dog, has been using the hashtags #alien #akira #starwars #horror #fantasy #Intergalactic #naughtydog #ps5 #sony on his Instagram, coinciding with Tye Martinez and his work on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

The question is, how much of this will end up being truly awful? The full story of the game has been leaked before, and as a result we’ve learned quite a bit about the new IP, if what we’ve been told is true. If Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet really does take a horror turn, it would be a bit of a relief for the studio, as it would show more than what we saw in The Last of Us. If it doesn’t, then while Sony will still get what it wants (blockbuster, mainstream success is what the company wants), it could achieve more.

Of course, none of this is official information yet.
