The Elder Scrolls VI Charity Auction: A Unique Chance for Fans!

The next game from Bethesda Game Studios (BGS) is looking to make money for players in a different way, but not in a way that directly benefits the developers. In BGS’ next game, you will be able to become a non-playable character (NPC) in the game, allowing you to stay with The Elder Scrolls VI into the future.

This was announced on Monday as part of a Make-A-Wish charity auction.Whoever wins the auction will be able to appear in Todd Howard’s next game.

“This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow you to be immortalized in one of the most anticipated video games of all time, The Elder Scrolls VI. The Elder Scrolls series, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, is known for its vast open worlds, deep lore, and immersive storytelling. With this exclusive experience, you’ll work with the developers to create a custom character that will appear in the game and leave your mark on the legendary franchise,” the auction description reads.

It’s been nearly seven years since The Elder Scrolls VI was announced by Bethesda, which at the time was not owned by Microsoft (the Redmond-based company later acquired ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s parent company). As a result, the game is unlikely to be available on Sony’s console initially. The reason I didn’t write PlayStation 5 in the previous sentence is that by the time Howard and his team finish development, the PlayStation 6 will likely be in stores, as will the next-generation Xbox. They just want to tell their story and move.

Some of my favorite games go back to like Limbo and stuff like that, those are fantastic games that I want to see continue in our industry.Part of our reason for trying to get a subscription going was to be able to support games that have a beginning, middle and end,” Spencer said.

The goal with the game is pretty big: BGS wants to create the biggest fantasy world simulator ever, and there are many ways the studio can get there, as a lot has changed since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Hopefully we’ll hear more about the game soon.
