Being a Game Pass subscriber just got more rewarding. Microsoft has rolled out its latest Xbox update, introducing new features for both PC and console, free perks for popular titles, and major upgrades to cloud gaming.
Microsoft continues to push forward its ambitious gaming strategy, aiming to dominate on all fronts—from PC enhancements and cloud gaming improvements to exclusive perks for loyal subscribers. As part of this ongoing effort, a fresh update has just landed, packed with features tailored especially for Game Pass members.
One highlight is the introduction of bonuses for free-to-play games like Heroes of the Storm, Naraka: Bladepoint, The Finals, and Smite 2. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users can now unlock exclusive cosmetics and virtual currency. And there’s more on the way—titles like Warzone, Enlisted, and War Thunder will offer new content and rewards in April, all viewable through the Xbox website.
March 2025 Xbox System Update
Cloud gaming is also seeing significant improvements. The latest update introduces seamless title switching without ending your session—a feature debuting with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which will be available via the cloud. The streaming catalog is expanding too, with new games like Party Animals, Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad, and more being added. Even more titles from users’ personal Xbox libraries will become streamable in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, on PC, the Game Bar and Widget Store have received user-friendly updates. Xbox Insiders Test Game Hub Feature
According to Windows Central, Xbox Insider Program members are currently testing Game Hub, a new feature that provides detailed game data before launch. Though still in beta, it may roll out to all users if reception is positive. Game Hub is designed to show progress on achievements, gameplay stats, official guides, recent screenshots, and friend activity—all directly tied into the Game Pass ecosystem. If implemented, it could be a game-changer for how players interact with their libraries.
