Copilot for Gaming Beta: Microsoft Has Brought It to Mobile!

You can now try the AI on iOS and Android in several countries, although it is not yet available in Hungary.

According to Microsoft, Copilot for Gaming aims to be the ultimate assistant for gamers. Users can access it on a second screen without taking away from their main gaming experience. The AI knows which game they are playing and understands their Xbox activity, enabling it to answer questions about games that interest players, provide links to additional information if the answer includes online resources, and answer various questions based on their account, gaming history, and achievements.

Several examples have been mentioned. You could ask what materials are needed to craft a sword in Minecraft, how to defeat Rougarou in South of Midnight, what recent RPG has been released for Xbox, what the rarest achievement is in Avowed, what the last achievement you earned in Starfield was, or when your Xbox Game Pass subscription will be renewed. It can even suggest games to try if you’re a horror movie fan.

Availability and Access

You can access the Copilot for Gaming Beta via the Xbox mobile app in the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Moldova, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Libya, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Uruguay, United States, and Vietnam.

The feature will be improved over time, as expected, with better personalization, proactive tips, and more. Testers can leave feedback under “More options” in the top-left corner of the app or simply rate the answers with a thumbs up or down.

AI Everywhere

Microsoft is also expanding its AI efforts, as Copilot is already integrated directly into Windows 11, making it possible to encounter it everywhere—even if you didn’t ask for it.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
