What a Bargain: This Is How Much Jump Space Will Cost in Early Access

“What a bargain!” – one of the most requested Steam titles comes with a surprisingly low price, and fans couldn’t be happier. Keepsake Games has confirmed that Jump Space will launch in early access for just €19.50, which many players consider more than fair.

If you’re a fan of sci-fi and multiplayer experiences, you’ve probably heard of Jump Space. Formerly known as Jump Ship, the game quickly grabbed attention thanks to its cooperative, space-based PvE gameplay, allowing solo play or co-op sessions with up to four players. It has firmly established itself as one of Steam’s most-wanted games, ranking 16th on Valve’s official chart, right behind Resident Evil 9: Requiem. With its early access debut just around the corner, Keepsake Games has managed to raise expectations even higher by confirming that the launch price will remain modest at €19.50.

According to its latest Steam announcement, the studio opted for this price point while focusing on expanding the game’s content during early access. As is often the case with such titles, the cost may rise later as more features and chapters are added. Although no final release date has been set, the developers estimate that the full version will arrive in roughly five months.

Jump Space’s Roadmap

The community has warmly welcomed the pricing decision. Steam comments reveal that many players view €19.50 as “a very reasonable price” (jasta85) and “a bargain!” (Cyber Moduled). After all, this is an early access game that will grow steadily over the coming months.

Early access begins on September 19 and will already include nine mission types, over 50 playable sectors, four galactic regions, two pilotable starships, eight weapons, 16 enemy spacecraft, and 11 ground-based opponents, all tied into Chapter 1 of the story.

Chapter 2 will gradually roll out until the first quarter of 2026, introducing endless game modes, offline support, a story expansion, new regions, and more. Chapter 3 will follow with new enemy types, a fresh boss battle, weapon variants, and other additions bound to please fans. Beyond that, Keepsake Games plans to move freely toward a Chapter 4, whose contents and release window remain under wraps. Ultimately, players can expect a 1.0 version packed with missions and objectives.
