You know that when we talk about a Netflix release, we always like to provide something interesting. As you can already guess, there are some reports about Flash, starting with the surprise cameo that we can see towards the end, but in this article, I want to focus on the strange “promotion” of the film – to call it something. Moreover, according to exclusive articles from renowned industry media, Tom Cruise was impressed by the movie after a private screening.

“The Flash is everything you want in a movie. This is the kind of movie we need now,” – we read in THR, referring to sources close to the meeting between the American actor and the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav. Such words could not be heard publicly about the film, so quite a few of us were surprised that such information came out.

Zaslav allegedly took Cruise on in a personal meeting, watch the movie and say something nice about it. The situation got really bizarre when it was revealed that a WB employee secretly took the film to Cruise’s Beverly Hills home and stayed until the actor finished watching it. It’s unclear what format Cruise watched, digitally or on tape. When Cruise finished, he returned the film to the courier, who took it back to the studio. All this fuss only so that a “big name” comment about the cinema can be spread…

Stephen King, on the other hand, publicly praised the film on X, saying that he “loved” The Flash.

Meanwhile, insiders also commented that the film had very positive trailers that suggested it would be a blockbuster. Then the release date came, and the blockbuster flopped in theatres. How why? Probably for the usual reasons. Because of a cinematic universe in which no one trusted anymore, and perhaps the problems of the main character Ezra Miller also contributed to it.

The Flash is now a thing of the past, as is Michael Keaton’s swan song as Batman. (Not counting the last-minute cancelled Batgirl movie, which we’ll probably never see.)
