However, he also left us with the final joke about a character: since the development team is not far from finishing the game, the description of one of its heroes is limited to simply calling him “asshole”.

The short description of one of the game’s heroes, Jacob Lash, caught the community’s attention with its ironic and carefree tone. In a genre where characters often have deep and complex backstories, Valve’s decision to mark Lash in such a direct and unusual way was welcomed as a breath of fresh air. Known for his expertise in the genre, Shroud began playing and streaming Deadlock, calling it the best TPS game he had ever tried. He highlighted the complexity and variety of the game’s mechanics, mentioning that even 1,000 hours would not be enough to master it fully.
