Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Returns to PC – And Not Just Any Version!

Capcom has never released the third game in the series on a digital store, and this will be the original version of Resident Evil 3…

For a long time, the original Resident Evil games were impossible to buy on PC. However, the collaboration between Capcom and GOG allows us to enjoy once again one of the most beloved titles in the franchise. After the first two games appeared in the CD Projekt store in the summer, now it’s Resident Evil 3: Nemesis’ turn. The title that became one of the most popular of the original trilogy comes in the updated version of the game (but not the remake!) at a reduced price (9.99 euros).

The release of the original version of the third game is perhaps the most special of the publications published during the collaboration between GOG and Capcom. Not only does it come on the 25th anniversary of the game’s original release, but this game in the series is considered the worst re-release of the franchise. The remake, while not a disaster, did not prove to be as ambitious as the second or fourth instalments. This situation led to criticism from fans who complained about the removal of areas such as Raccoon City’s famous clock tower.

With the release, PC gamers can finally enjoy the original experience.

Until now, the title was not available in any digital store. The only PC version was the physical version, which has been out of stock for years now. In addition, significant improvements have been made to subtitles, dialogue options, and cursor visibility. In addition, of course, it works perfectly on modern systems and is compatible with countless peripherals, from the Xbox 360 controller to the PS5 DualSense.

Now, when all gamers are waiting for news that will shed light on the future of the series, it doesn’t hurt to look back at the titles on which one of the most successful IPs in gaming history was built. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for the series…
