In addition to the PS Plus Extra game, Premium will offer such classics as Dino Crisis and Blood Omen later this year.

The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PlayStation Plus Extra on Thursday, September 26! And two PS1 classics will be added to the Premium level this year.

Yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play event highlighted three new games that will be available to PS Plus Premium subscribers. The first is The Last of Us Part 1, the PS5 remake of the classic PS3 game, which will join the PS Plus Games Catalog on Thursday, September 26. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can also try it out. However, only PS Plus Premium subscribers can play Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Capcom’s Dino Crisis. No exact date has been revealed as to when the two classic PS1 games will be available on Premium, but that will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The addition of Dino Crisis to the range of PS Plus Premium games is particularly exciting. Many fans have already demanded that Capcom make a remake of the dinosaur survival horror game. Notably, Dino Crisis joins the original Resident Evil on PS Plus Premium, making the service especially exciting for fans of Capcom’s survival-horror franchises!

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain joins PS Plus Premium as part of a larger return to the franchise.

The PlayStation State of Play also confirmed a revamped collection of Soul Reaver games. These were the Legacy of Kain games following Blood Omen. With Blood Omen becoming available through PS Plus Premium, PlayStation gamers will be able to play most games in the series again until the end of the year. (However, Blood Omen 2 and Legacy of Kain: Defiance are still missing.)

In addition to confirming the new games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium, Sony also revealed the free PS Plus games coming in October 2024. WWE 2K24 tops the list of free PS Plus games for October 2024, but Dead Space remake and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus are also on offer.
