Possible Launch Window Indicators for Jurassic Park: Survival?

There’s no official word on when Jurassic Park: Survival will be released, but you can put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Filmaffinity thinks we could see the game on store shelves in 2025, which is thought-provoking because the site has a history of accurately predicting when movies and games will be available to the public. The Australian Classification Board registered Jurassic Park: Survival on April 5, warning consumers at the time that the game had a strong horror theme and that if it was rated there, it would soon be rated in Europe and the United States.

In an interview with IGN this summer, the developers talked about not planning a release in 2024, so 2025 seems logical as Jurassic World: Rebirth will be released in theaters next year (it will be in theaters starting July 2), and Jurassic Park: Survival is likely to be released alongside it (even if its second release is on a Wednesday). Rumors of the game being canceled are not true. Tim Willits, an executive at Saber Interactive, confirmed on Twitter that the game is still in development and that he hopes to hear more about it soon (maybe at The Game Awards?).

Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, also confirmed that the studio is working on John Carpenter’s Toxic Command and Jurassic Park: Survival with active support behind them. The game is now available on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Steam. It should be noted that we are NOT talking about the 2001 Savage Entertainment action-adventure title that Vivendi or Konami would have released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube or PC! This game was canceled in July 2001 because Vivendi Universal was not happy with Savage Entertainment’s work and the project was canceled due to disagreements over funding.

So we will hear more about it soon.
