TECH NEWS – Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says the technology could show huge efficiency gains in certain jobs.

Huang recently visited India to speak at an event on artificial intelligence. Huang believes that AI is not capable of performing certain human tasks, but there are situations where the technology will be able to achieve much greater efficiency, but will not be able to replace humans in industry.

“Right now, artificial intelligence has no way of doing what we do. Depending on what we do, it could do 20% of our jobs 1000 times better. For some people, it could do 50% of their jobs 1000 times better. But in no job can it do everything,” Huang said.

So some jobs could be completely replaced by AI, where it doesn’t need to rely on humans. According to Jensen, those that don’t use AI will be replaced by those that do, because they can be more productive thanks to AI automation. Huang has previously said that the company is working to deploy 100 million AI assistants within the company, while the number of subordinates has reached 50,000.

Reuters reported that thousands of people waited to see Huang at the event. Fans spent thousands of rupees to travel to the event, which shows the impact Nvidia and its work has had on the international market, as we are talking about India, which could soon become the new Silicon Valley of technological development.

Nvidia has signed agreements with several tech giants in the country. The most important one is Reliance Industries. The greens will provide Reliance with the latest Blackwell artificial intelligence chips as the tech company looks to set up a 1GW data center in Gujarat. In addition, Nvidia will supply thousands of Hopper chips to AI companies (e.g. Tata Communications, Yotta Data Services). So they’re also getting the previous generation of technology.

But not everyone is going to be replaced by the technology, that’s for sure.
