Another old-new character has been added to the roster of Street Fighter V: R. Mika (or Rainbow Mika, if you prefer her full name) was last seen in Street Fighter Alpha 3, and surprisingly, her mentor was Zangief. Her fighting style is interesting because her wrestling partner, Nadeshiko also participates in matches. Calling Nadeshiko in at the right time is important to activate the V-Trigger, allowing the player to set up command grab mix-ups for a ton of damage. This character seems like someone who will require a lot of practice to work out the close combat guessing games properly in order to always be a step ahead of our rival.
R. Mika was announced at PAX Prime, which is being held in Seattle between August 28 and August 31 – in case you are around there, you can try her out, as Capcom has brought a playable demo with her in the roster as well.
Street Fighter V, which is just receiving a playable beta now (using Unreal Engine 4 as well as the upcoming Tekken 7 by Bandai Namco), is going to be available from Spring 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC. (Sony sponsored the game, thus the console exclusivity.)
