Polish studio THE PARASIGHT has officially pulled back the curtain on DAVY x JONES, an open-world, first-person shooter reimagining the notorious pirate king, Davy Jones. Shattered in both body and spirit, Jones must haunt the afterlife to hunt down his nemesis, Blackbeard, in a tale that’s equal parts swashbuckling chaos and supernatural carnage—with plenty of swordplay, firearms, and grappling hooks to go around.

A Most Unlikely Alliance: Body Meets Skull

Here’s the twist: while Jones has been split in two, you’ll actually be piloting his headless corpse, with his ever-chatty skull tagging along as your wisecracking battle buddy. The skull serves as both guide and annoyance, dishing out advice and never missing a beat—even at the bottom of the ocean.

Your quest? Recover Davy Jones’s lost relics and unleash his full power. Not so easy when you’ve been betrayed, decapitated, and stripped of everything, then condemned to the Chest—a pirate purgatory that floats above a boundless ocean of clouds.
