July is bringing an avalanche of movies and series to HBO Max. This month features exclusive premieres, classic blockbusters, and even some unique Hungarian films for good measure. Max’s selection is stacked with something for every taste—whether you love horror, drama, or comedy, you’ll find your pick here.

Series

Returning hits include The Gilded Age, And Just Like That… (Season 3), and Rick & Morty (Season 8). Among the new arrivals, the Spanish series Furia (premieres 07.11) stands out, following five women as their worlds collapse and their rage is unleashed. Another highlight is Back To Frontier (premieres 07.10), a Max Originals reality show where three American families attempt to survive as 1880s settlers, with no electricity or running water. New episodes from Discovery and ID are also coming all month long.

Movies

One of July’s top releases is Sinners (premieres 07.04) by Ryan Coogler: twin siblings return home hoping for a fresh start, only to confront an even greater evil. The acclaimed Irish music biopic Kneecap (07.04) also makes its streaming premiere, chronicling the wild, true story of a Belfast DJ and two rebel rappers.

DC fans can catch Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League (07.03), where a new threat looms over Gotham. Saoirse Ronan leads The Outrun (07.11), while Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson star in the erotic thriller Babygirl (07.25). Horror lovers get the full Final Destination (07.18) saga, and the latest installment, Final Destination: Bloodlines, is still playing in theaters.

Other premieres: First Man (07.01) starring Ryan Gosling, Under Siege and Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (07.03) with Steven Seagal, Mr. & Mrs. Smith (07.03), The Northman (07.11) starring Alexander Skarsgård, Traffic (07.17), and Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (07.31). Alongside blockbusters, there’s plenty of comedy: Ticket to Paradise (07.01), Juno (07.03), 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street (07.10), Bad Teacher (07.10), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (07.10), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (07.17), and Knocked Up (07.17).

Fresh Hungarian cinema arrives with Zsófia Szilágyi’s January 2nd (07.31), a film about the chaos of moving house.
