According to the official death certificate, Michael Madsen’s primary cause of death was cardiac arrest. An autopsy was not performed, as the cardiologist had already confirmed the cause, and the actor’s body has since been cremated.
Michael Madsen, star of cult classics like Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, passed away at age 67 in Malibu on July 3. Soon after, local authorities issued an official statement: there was no foul play involved, and his passing was due to long-standing health problems.
