Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Gets a Game Adaptation: What Has GameMill Not Done Yet? [VIDEO]

GameMill Entertainment is known for its game adaptations, so it would be fitting for them to announce a Christmas-themed game in July.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a new 3D platformer that brings the holiday spirit to life. Set out on a festive quest to save Christmas and join all the reindeer games in this classic adventure, guaranteed to delight fans of every generation. Jump into the enchanting world of the beloved animated classic and help save the holiday! Journey through iconic locations as Rudolph and friends, taking on a variety of cheerful challenges. Collect Christmas treasures, complete platforming tasks, and enjoy charming minigames either solo or in local co-op mode. This fun and festive experience is designed for the whole family to enjoy together.

Step into a vibrant, interactive winter wonderland, packed with joyful places to explore and challenges to complete for a fresh take on the beloved classic. Travel through magical holiday realms, including Christmastown, the Island of Misfit Toys, Bumble’s Cave, and Santa’s Castle. Play as Rudolph, Clarice, Hermey, and Yukon Cornelius, each with unique abilities. Grab a friend for two-player local co-op and embrace the holiday cheer as you save Christmas as a team. Enjoy classic songs like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Holly Jolly Christmas” along the way!

Headless Chicken is developing the game based on the 1964 stop-motion puppet film, with release planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch during the 2025 holiday season. However, let’s not forget the publisher—GameMill Entertainment—has a reputation for putting out at least one pretty bad licensed game each year. Hopefully, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer won’t be the one earning that distinction in 2025.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
