Trump Wanted to Break Up Nvidia, But Later Changed His Mind!

TECH NEWS – If you can’t beat them, join them – that must be what the US president thought when he changed his stance on Nvidia.

Trump had planned to break up Nvidia to level the artificial intelligence playing field, but he changed his mind after meeting Jensen Huang, the company’s CEO. Nvidia is America’s leading AI company, and its hardware and software technology is unmatched. Interestingly, however, Trump knew nothing about Nvidia and its leader when he took over the White House. Since Nvidia was the frontrunner in the AI race, Trump thought it would be a good idea to break the company’s dominance by creating a new company with the “best” professionals.

As it turned out, he didn’t know who Jensen Huang was at the time. After getting to know Nvidia’s CEO, Trump backed down: “I said, ‘Look, we’ll break this guy up,’ before I learned the facts here. I thought we could break them up a bit and give them some competition. But I found out it’s not easy in that business,” Trump said.

When the U.S. president says that Nvidia cannot be competed with, the world should take note. Nvidia’s progress in the AI craze far exceeds anything extraordinary. More importantly, Nvidia has become the driving force behind the AI movement, establishing America’s dominance in the global AI landscape. Yesterday at the AI summit, Trump mentioned Jensen Huang several times and praised the company’s role in solidifying America’s leadership in AI.

Examining Nvidia’s $4 trillion valuation, it’s clear that Jensen sowed the seeds of success years ago when he first announced CUDA and his vision for AI development. Jensen’s ability to position himself at the forefront of the industry is one of the main reasons Nvidia is currently successful. To maintain its leading position, Nvidia is taking unprecedented steps, such as an aggressive product cycle and consistent software development.

Nvidia’s future under Trump looks bright. As Huang said at the event, Trump is a unique factor that sets America apart from all other countries.
