The studio that appeared on PlayStation 5 a few years ago with Quantum Error, Son and Bone, is back with another game.
This third-person horror game will be available for $50. There will also be a Digital Deluxe Edition for $60 that includes a Violet Sinclair avatar, the soundtrack, and five additional costumes: DinoMatrix, Ms. Sassy Sinclair, Star Shadow Siren, Big Sky Cowgirl, and Sugar and Spice. Those who pre-order will receive the Retro American Bombshell Pinup Set (Military Pinup and Pinup Swimsuit costumes), as well as the Annihilator SMG and Retro Cherry Pie earrings.
Survive the horror and unravel the truth. In the 25th century, a cataclysm left Earth uninhabitable, forcing the survivors of humanity to Trappist 1-E. Facing extinction due to sterility, the Aion colony uses cutting-edge time-travel technology to abduct women from the past to serve as surrogates in a desperate attempt to save humanity. However, their mission conceals a sinister conspiracy. As Violet Sinclair, who has been torn from your time, you awaken in the Aion Bioengineering Complex, which is swarming with ferocious prehistoric dinosaurs and hostile forces. Carefully manage your inventory, uncover Aion’s dark secrets, fight to survive, and escape during a chaotic evacuation.
Feel the panic as you outmaneuver relentless dinosaurs with scarce resources and stealth. Experience the intense horror you crave. Master the art of managing limited inventory slots to prioritize weapons, healing items, and puzzle-solving tools — every choice is critical to surviving the complex’s deadly threats. Engage in thrilling third-person battles against savage dinosaurs, blending melee and ranged tactics for pulse-pounding encounters. Immerse yourself in haunting jungles and neon-lit facilities where dynamic lighting, shadows, and reflections intensify the terrifying atmosphere. Immerse yourself in a vivid soundscape where every rustle, roar, and echo brings the environment to life and amplifies the tension with pinpoint directional audio.
Experience every action—from weapon recoil and evasion struggles to puzzle interactions and combat impacts—through dynamic triggers and tactile feedback. This makes every move and solution visceral and impactful. Unravel a tale of betrayal tied to Aion’s time-travel technology and surrogate program. Violet’s journey reveals shocking twists that will keep you hooked. Solve intricate environmental and mechanical puzzles to unlock paths and secrets, rewarding critical thinking and adding depth for a satisfying challenge. Confront intelligently designed beasts and classic dinosaurs that stalk you unpredictably, blending nostalgia with cutting-edge AI for unforgettable chases. Immerse yourself in a visually spectacular, heart-racing adventure filled with survival horror, strategic inventory management, explosive action, and brain-teasing puzzles. It’s perfect for thrill-seekers and fans of dino-driven chaos.
Code Violet will arrive on the PlayStation 5 on November 14. Like Quantum Error, we’re willing to bet that it won’t get an Xbox Series/PC port.
