Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: The New DLC Could Fulfill Many Requests

With Legacy of the Forge, Warhorse could bring many long-awaited features to the medieval RPG. Many hope it will be similar to the From the Ashes DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which allowed players to build and manage a small village.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s next expansion, players will be able to operate a workshop for active or passive income. Fans are also hoping for other passive income options and one of the most requested features — a home for the player. Even if Legacy of the Forge delivers these, the developers shouldn’t stop there, as the community has been asking for numerous quality-of-life improvements since the game’s release in February.

It’s surprising that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 — one of the most immersive gaming experiences — still contains so many elements that can break immersion. One of the most requested changes is the ability to hide Henry’s helmet during dialogues, as most helmets make him look a bit silly. While this is probably absent for immersion reasons, the fact that it can be distracting speaks volumes.

This change would fit naturally into Legacy of the Forge, as it revolves around Henry’s equipment. Currently, players who want to see Henry’s face must remove his helmet entirely — which exposes him to serious head injuries. A hide option would eliminate this problem.

The DLC could also add other highly requested gameplay improvements. Inventory management is one area in particular that could benefit, especially given the game’s heavy focus on crafting through blacksmithing. Being able to mark items as sellable or keepable would prevent accidental sales and speed up shop interactions. If the expansion builds on the “blacksmithing magnate” concept, a more advanced crafting, sorting, and selling interface would naturally complement the new content.

Other requested features include the ability to camp anywhere and giving Mutt a dedicated control wheel for faster commands.
