Dragon Age: The Veilguard headlines a lineup of seven new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass at the end of August. BioWare’s RPG joins the service alongside Gears of War: Reloaded and Herdling.
We’ve reached the middle of the month, which means it’s time for Xbox Game Pass to refresh its ever-growing game catalog. Microsoft has revealed the list of new experiences arriving in the second half of August: seven titles in total, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the upcoming RPG from BioWare launching in October 2024.
But Dragon Age isn’t the only RPG joining Game Pass this month. Fans of the genre can also dive into the critically acclaimed Persona 4 Golden, now available in the Standard tier. Of course, the lineup also features the long-awaited Gears of War: Reloaded, which brings back the iconic shooter with enhanced visuals, post-launch content, and new features that fans will appreciate. Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass – August 2025
Along with the new additions, Microsoft has confirmed five titles that will be removed from Game Pass on August 31. This information has also been reiterated in the latest Xbox Wire update.
