[GC 2025] Lords of the Fallen II: How Dark Will It Be? [VIDEO]

Publisher CI Games recently claimed this sequel would be the franchise’s “Empire Strikes Back.” Can it live up to that comparison?

Lords of the Fallen II is a dark fantasy action RPG where brutal Soulslike combat collides with a fractured world. Embark on an epic journey to battle against the darkness in a shattered kingdom. One world. Two realms. No mercy. Centuries ago, the Umbral darkness consumed everything in its path, leaving only one sacred land protected by an ancient force. But that force was stolen by the gods, leaving humanity forsaken and defenseless. Unless it is restored, the shadow of death will engulf all. But how do you kill an immortal? A hero must rise to bring down a god.

Traverse a vast, war-torn kingdom crumbling from within as the realms of the living and the dead bleed into one another. From moonlit citadels to decayed temples, every step could be your last. Combat is fast, fluid, and unforgiving—every strike counts. Experiment with countless builds, whether steel or sorcery, melee or ranged, to overcome unique enemies before delivering arena-drenching executions. Confront colossal monsters forged in a merciless, hopeless world.

Each encounter will brutally test your skill, endurance, and willpower. As the bearer of the Umbral Lamp, you can cross between the realms of the living and the dead. Each realm has its own paths, treasures, and nightmarish foes—but far greater and darker forces await you.

Lords of the Fallen II is scheduled to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
