Rebellion released a teaser video and a brief statement about the second story DLC for “British Fallout.”

Atomfall is a survival action game set in the United Kingdom. The second DLC, titled The Red Strain, will be released on September 16. Rebellion Developments has revealed this release date and has provided a teaser video, which can be viewed below. The DLC features a top-secret new location and plenty of mysteries to explore. More information about the content will be available to players in the next few weeks. No matter how much we look on Steam or the Rebellion website, that’s all there is.

Did we mention that this is the second story DLC? We can confirm that the previous DLC, Wicked Isle, was released on June 3 and was available for $20. It introduced a new location, enemies, weapons, abilities, and items. The base game received several extra endings. Set on Midsummer Island, it drew inspiration from elements of folk horror. You can access the island by speaking with the boat guard in the village of Wyndham. Due to the mysteries and secret location, the second DLC will likely focus on stealth, but until Rebellion reveals more, we can only speculate. When the company announces the details, we will likely return to The Red Strain DLC in the news.

Rebellion will share more about the DLC in the future. The company was delighted to reach the one-million-player milestone for Atomfall, but this achievement is somewhat skewed by the fact that the game is also available on Xbox Game Pass. Otherwise, Atomfall is available on almost every platform, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the exceptions of GOG on PC (due to the use of Denuvo) and Nintendo Switch among consoles.
