Genki announced that Tokyo Xtreme Racer will no longer be available on Steam Early Access for much longer, so the race is about to begin.
Let’s first hear from the producer about the racing game, which has been available on Steam Early Access for just under eight months: “Thank you to all the players and fans for the feedback and requests during Early Access. The development team is excited to announce that Tokyo Xtreme Racer is now ready for its full release. Throughout the Early Access period, we received an incredible amount of feedback and requests from players around the world. Your voices have been instrumental in shaping the game, and we are deeply grateful for your support. The game will launch on September 25 for $50.
We have decided to delay the implementation of the Replay feature in order to prioritize adding more game content, such as additional story content. We sincerely apologize to those who were looking forward to this feature. Rest assured, we will do our best to add a polished and ready version of the feature in future game updates. After careful consideration, we have also decided not to implement Steam record ranking due to insufficient cheat prevention measures. We believe that introducing the feature without being able to provide a fair playing field for all players would negatively impact the player experience. The passion, feedback, and support of the fans have been invaluable to the development team. We are excited to deliver the complete Tokyo Xtreme Racer experience and hope everyone enjoys it.”
These cars and car parts will be added: Lexus RC F Performance Package (USC10), Nissan Fairlady Z Version ST (RZ34), Toyota GR Yaris RZ (GXPA16), Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC10), Toyota GR Supra RZ (DB06), Lexus LC LC500 S package (URZ100), Toyota Celsior C specification F package interior selection (UCF31), Nissan GT-R Premium edition T-spec (R35), Honda NSX Type S Zero (NA2), Honda Civic Type R (EK9), Honda Integra Type R (DC2). A new chapter will also be included, along with additional rivals.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer will officially launch on September 25, with its price increasing from $30 to $50. There is no word yet on console versions.
