Forgive Me Father: Lovecraft’s Legacy Dropping Soon on Consoles [VIDEO]

Byte Barrel and Fulcrum Publishing have announced the release date of the first-person shooter game for two of the three consoles.

Embark on a path to salvation and continue the story of the priest character from the first installment. How long can you walk on the edge of sanity? Will your sins be forgiven, or will madness consume your soul? Forgive Me Father’s dark, hand-drawn art style, in which every frame looks like a page from a comic book, is one of its defining features, and the sequel brings a fresh perspective to this unique style with improved sprites, models, and atmospheric lighting effects. Prepare to feast your eyes on bloody effects and animated gore flying everywhere!

Defeat Lovecraftian nightmares with a wide range of weapons. Battle hordes of diverse, formidable enemies, but beware—each one will evolve into an increasingly evil and twisted form. This journey never gets any easier! Define your play style by assembling the deadliest arsenal from a variety of weapons, each with powerful variations designed to wreak havoc and utter destruction on your enemies. Choose from devastating shotguns, deadly accurate rifles, and explosive launchers, and unleash their full potential.

Overwhelming insanity is both your best friend and your worst enemy. Embrace it, unleash absolute mayhem on your enemies, and gain extraordinary powers. Embrace the madness and use it to fuel your bizarre new abilities. Teach the horrors assaulting your senses to fear you. Experience the surprisingly fitting combination of powerful electric guitar riffs and energetic drums underscoring the dark, Lovecraftian atmosphere. Slay hordes of deranged cultists and face unimaginable ancient evil while listening to an original soundtrack that will make you want to headbang for hours.

Forgive Me, Father 2 was released on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on October 19, 2023, and left early access on October 24 of last year. It will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on September 23. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later date. Will it be canceled, or will there be a Switch 2 version?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
