Dynasty Warriors: Origins: The Nintendo Switch 2 Won’t Be Left Out Either! [VIDEO]

Omega Force and Koei Tecmo confirmed that Dynasty Warriors: Origins will also arrive on Nintendo’s new console in January, alongside a major DLC expansion.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins was released on January 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Koei Tecmo recently announced that the game’s sales have already surpassed 1 million copies. They also revealed that a major DLC is in the works, though its content remains undisclosed. Given its Japanese origins, more details may be unveiled at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

The game provides a deeper interpretation of the classic Three Kingdoms saga, portraying the turbulent history of ancient China. From the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the climax of the Battle of Chibi, Dynasty Warriors: Origins immerses players in a world of chaos. Through the eyes of a nameless hero, players must fight fiercely, make bold decisions to restore peace, and shape history while facing massive enemy armies.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins delivers an unmatched sense of realism on the battlefield with the largest number of soldiers in the series’ history. Enemy units coordinate attacks, posing an immense threat, and forcing players to push forward with allies. Once the front lines are broken, you and your comrades can charge into massive enemy forces and experience battles of an unprecedented scale, with thousands of soldiers clashing at once.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins will launch on January 22 for Nintendo Switch 2, just over a year after its original release. The major DLC will arrive simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, ensuring the large-scale combat continues well into the future.
