Stellar Blade Devs Tease Fans With a Cryptic Image – Silent Hill Collaboration or New DLC Incoming?

We don’t want to alarm you, but the Stellar Blade studio seems to be cooking something up, and the hints are hidden in a single image. Shift Up posted a picture of a gloomy corridor on X along with a brief message: “this week.”

The Stellar Blade development team is still making waves in the gaming community. After winning over thousands of players on PlayStation 5 and later on PC, Shift Up has made it clear that it won’t waste the huge opportunity it has as a rising studio. Its next move is coming this week: the South Korean team has shared a mysterious corridor image that doesn’t seem related to any of its previous titles.

Since its release, Stellar Blade has been one of 2024’s biggest surprises, drawing strong reviews and building a loyal fanbase that closely follows its every step. So it’s no wonder that a single cryptic image has triggered a wave of speculation, turning into one of the most talked-about subjects on forums and social media in recent hours.

Silent Hill Collaboration or Stellar Blade DLC?

Although Shift Up hasn’t revealed specific details, the only thing confirmed so far is that the mystery will be solved within days. The studio is preparing an official announcement this week, but the secrecy has only fueled speculation, with gamers sharing their predictions nonstop about what could be coming.

Among all the theories, a collaboration with Resident Evil seems the most likely, especially since Capcom’s franchise is already set to appear in another game from the South Korean developer: Goddess of Victory: Nikke. However, the second major theory points toward Silent Hill. Some fans argue that the eerie atmosphere of the image matches better with Konami’s psychological horror series, which also happens to launch a new installment this week: Silent Hill f.

Of course, not everyone is convinced it’s an external collaboration. Some believe it could instead be a new Stellar Blade DLC, or perhaps even an announcement tied to a port for the Nintendo Switch 2. For now, the only certainty is that news is just around the corner.
