We understand if, at the age of 90, she really wants to distance herself from Bethesda Game Studios’ 2011 game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

After ten years of uploading videos, Shirley Curry, also known as Skyrim Grandma, is retiring from her life as an adventurer. In the video below, Curry, who has over a million subscribers and will have her own character in The Elder Scrolls VI, said that she is tired and will no longer upload The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim videos. If you’re experiencing déjà vu, it’s no coincidence. Curry made a similar announcement almost exactly a year ago, saying in a video that she would no longer make gaming videos. However, in December, she felt the urge to play Skyrim again and returned to the game. In May, she played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered for the first time to see Cyrodiil.

She may change her mind again and return to Todd Howard‘s work after a break, but it’s unlikely, as she seems tired and doesn’t seem to be getting what she wants out of her Skyrim uploads. She suggests that, if you’re interested in more “grandma” content, you should download the Skyrim mod that makes her your follower or check out her blog about religion.

“I have a few older regular viewers, but most of them seem to be very young kids. I’m not getting any feedback from them on the videos. All I get is ‘Hi, Grandma. I love you, Grandma.’ That isn’t why I spend my time making and uploading videos. I’ll leave a vlog every once in a while when I have something to talk to you older ones about. By ‘older ones,’ I mean teens and up—the ones who have regularly commented on my videos and actually talked to me. I hope that I will still hear from you in my vlogs or via email as I have been.

This has come to this because I’ll soon turn 90. Every time I come up with a new way to play a story in Skyrim, I create one, two, or three characters, and then I get bored again. That’s why I’m going to stop uploading anything related to Skyrim. I’m tired and not having fun anymore, probably because of all the little kids on there. That’s about all I have to say,” Curry said.

We understand if she’s tired, especially at her age.
