Resident Evil Requiem: surprisingly friendly system requirements on PC

Capcom’s latest installment of Resident Evil is now available for pre-order, and we’ve learned what kind of PC you’ll need to run it.

 

All pre-orders come with a free Apocalypse costume bonus for the main character, Grace. The base edition costs $70, while the Deluxe Edition costs $80. The Deluxe Edition includes five costumes (including Grace: Dimitrescu), two filters (including Apocalypse), four weapon skins (including the S&S M232 Apocalypse), two mudflaps (including Mr. Raccoon), the Raccoon City Classic Sound Pack, and files containing letters from 1998.

To celebrate the Japanese publisher’s debut on the Epic Games Store, players who purchase Resident Evil: Requiem on this platform will receive special, Resident Evil–themed collaboration items in Fortnite, such as the Grace skin. These items will be distributed in Fortnite after the game’s release. Capcom also unveiled a special edition Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller featuring graphics from the game and a metallic black design. Nintendo will release it on the game’s release date. Additionally, it has been revealed that Grace will be the first Resident Evil amiibo, arriving next summer. Following the opening of pre-orders, the publisher released the PC system requirements.

They don’t mention it, but an Internet connection due to Denuvo DRM

Of course, if you want to play Resident Evil: Requiem with path tracing on a PC, an RTX 2060 Super won’t suffice. Resident Evil: Requiem will be released on February 27 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
