GT7: PlayStation VR-support would be nice, says Yoshida

Gran Turismo 6 was released at the end of 2013 (when the PlayStation 4 was out already) on the PS3, so logically, the question arises: when will Gran Turismo 7 hit us? We have no concrete date for that yet, but Polyphony Digital might get something new on table. Especially, if they listen to one certain higher-up person at Sony!

Shuhei Yoshida says that he would like to see virtual reality-support for Gran Turismo 7. Therefore, he’d be happy if GT7 supports PlayStation VR, and seeing the Oculus Rift, it should be a good idea to pull it off. Gran Turismo 7 will launch before 2017 (this makes us wonder when did the guys start work on this episode – maybe they worked on 6 and 7 simultaenously?), so we’re most likely going to hear new details about it very shortly.

For racing games, using the VR headset would probably a very enjoyable experience, and while Sony is working on around 30 smaller VR titles, a big gun like GT7 would be a good addition to that line-up!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
