The horror adventure game developed by Broken Mirror Games and published by Skybound Games will not be released on the previously planned date. It has been pushed back to 2026.
Halloween is the perfect time to turn off the lights and play a horror game, whether it’s something new, such as Cronos: The New Dawn from Bloober Team, Silent Hill f from NeoBards Entertainment, or a classic like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Dead Space, or Alien: Isolation. Unfortunately, Broken Mirror Games and Skybound Games’ upcoming 80s-themed isometric horror adventure game will not be one of this year’s hit Halloween games. It was supposed to be released on November 7, but it won’t be released in 2025 either.
The video below shows more of the game’s eerie atmosphere, which is fitting for this time of year. However, it ends with the announcement that the game will not be released on November 7. The new release date is January 29, 2026, for all target platforms (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch). Broken Mirror Games issued a short statement on the matter:

“As for the date change, we decided that we need a little more time to better incorporate some changes and features gathered from community feedback. We feel the game deserves to make a good first impression, so we rethought things and set the new release window to January 2026. Thanks for your patience and understanding,” Broken Mirror Games wrote on Twitter.
The studio’s debut title, based on a comic book by writer Kyle Starks and artist Artyom Topilin, features players facing supernatural beings in an ’80s-themed world. The game was first unveiled in March and was originally scheduled for release at the end of the year, but it was recently postponed. A demo is currently available on PC and was showcased at the most recent Steam Next Fest.
