You have until 10 a.m. Pacific time today to get this game for free, and free games are always nice.

One night, Bulb Boy suddenly wakes from a frightening nightmare to find that evil has overtaken the Bulbhouse. His family has disappeared, and horrid monsters lurk in the shadows. Gather your courage and use Bulb Boy’s glass head to save everything he loves. Find the light within yourself. Bulb Boy is an intuitive, 2D, point-and-click horror adventure inspired by Machinarium and Gobliiins. Solve puzzles, defeat wicked monsters, and reveal Bulby’s abilities to unravel a twisted tale. Don’t forget to save Grandpa Raffin and Mothdog from the frightening darkness.

Explore the Bulb House, which is full of frightening creatures. Defeat evil in all its forms and bring light back. Being a bulb boy comes with many talents. Your head lights up, letting you survive electrical shocks, and it can be unscrewed to be used in strange places. You can also play as other family members. Relive Bulb Boy’s childhood memories to uncover the mystery. There will be no dialogue, only speech bubbles. Watch the story unfold in animated clouds. The house is full of things waiting to be discovered. There is also poop of various sizes and shapes.

Bulb Boy is currently free on Steam to promote its recently released sequel, Bulb Boy 2: Jar of Despair. In it, Bulb Boy’s mission is to find a jar of jam in the basement, a simple task turned into a nightmare by a creature that wants our head. A demo is also available if you want to try it out before buying. The Bulb Boy adventures are strange vignettes that feel like scenes from The Ren & Stimpy Show, bordering on the grotesque.

Hurry, because Bulb Boy is free on Steam until 10 a.m. Pacific time.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
