Call of Duty Black Ops 7: Endgame Mode to Be Separated from the Campaign!

Treyarch’s game was somewhat disappointing in terms of critical reception and perhaps sales, and it is set to undergo some changes.

The developer has announced that it will separate the Endgame mode from the much-criticized campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Currently, Endgame is unlocked by completing the campaign and allows 32 players to complete a series of shorter tasks within a set time limit before being eliminated from the field. Players who have reached this mode have widely praised it, but the requirement to complete the campaign to unlock it seems to have deterred most players.

Treyarch announced that players who complete the campaign by Friday will receive bonuses in the game’s other modes. The bonuses are three 1-hour Double Level XP tokens, three 1-hour Double Weapon XP tokens, three 1-hour Double Battle Pass XP tokens, and three Perkaholic GobbleGums. The developers are trying to draw attention to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which has been available to everyone for a week.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s results on Steam have already been surpassed by Anno 1800: Pax Romana. However, that’s only one platform, and this year’s Call of Duty was released on previous-generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), which are now 12 years old. In any case, alongside the latest installment of Anno, this year’s Call of Duty has also been heavily criticized for containing assets created with generative artificial intelligence.

There are things we can rightly criticize. For example, why does story mode require a constant internet connection? (To prevent piracy?) But who cares about saving the game? Will this also be a disposable game? Also, why does the game kick you off the field if you take a break for more than a few minutes? (So don’t go to the toilet during the game!)
