According to a new rumor, a modernized edition of Henry’s first adventure will soon be available for current-gen consoles.

Two months ago, someone on Reddit mentioned that Daniel Vávra and his team were secretly working on something, and now a rumor has appeared on Reddit suggesting that this project is Henry’s first adventure. At that time, he reported that Kingdom Come: Deliverance would be remastered. The leaker has returned with new information about the update for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

He believes that the Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be released in February. Therefore, the remaster may arrive on the game’s eighth birthday. The original was released on February 13, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and on March 15, 2024, for the Nintendo Switch. If the CryEngine-powered game is remastered, it could be released on February 13, 2026, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and possibly the Nintendo Switch 2, as February 13 falls on a Friday that year, which could be convenient for the Czech developers.

The leaker added that we shouldn’t expect much from the new version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He understands that Warhorse is essentially porting the PC version to consoles, so it won’t be anything earth-shattering or completely new. Players will just get a native version on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, presumably with all the DLC. This will allow them to enjoy the fullest possible experience and possibly spark their interest in the sequel.

In theory, this shouldn’t require much work. All that would be required is to apply the 4K texture pack (except for the Xbox Series S, as it is a weaker console) and higher-resolution sounds to the game. Interestingly, the game received a sequel that was similarly well-received and has already received all its DLC.
