Nobody Wants to Die takes players to the year 2329, dropping them into a dystopian New York to follow Detective James Karra, who is willing to risk everything to catch a serial killer targeting the city’s elite. The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark also revolves around a police investigation, but it goes for a much more comedic, lighthearted vibe. Detective McQueen heads into a cursed town called Twin Lakes to solve six cases filled with unexplained happenings and paranormal elements. On the mechanics side, it’s a point-and-click adventure packed with sharp dialogue and classic puzzles.
