Although this title probably will not support Nvidia DLSS 5 either, the racing game will definitely use Nvidia technologies, which has become increasingly common these days.
Fuse Games’ highly anticipated sci-fi arcade racing game, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, has received an official announcement for the release date that had previously been mentioned as a rumor: October 6. Nvidia has also announced that the game will arrive this fall with support for Nvidia DLSS 4.5 technology, including Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation and Nvidia Super Resolution. It will also support DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PCs and laptops equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards. Naturally, players using Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 5000 series graphics cards based on the Blackwell architecture will be able to take full advantage of Nvidia’s graphics technologies.
Although there is still some time before Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches on PC and consoles, several upcoming releases will support Nvidia DLSS 4.5. These include Conan Exiles Enhanced, which launched yesterday, and Dead as Disco, a new rhythm-based beat-em-up that supports DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation, and Nvidia Reflex. Another upcoming title, though not as immediate as a release from yesterday, is IO Interactive’s upcoming James Bond adventure, 007 First Light, which will also appear in today’s news. Since March, we have known that the game will support Nvidia’s software suite, and today we received another reminder about the upcoming spy adventure and its DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction support ahead of the game’s release later this month, on May 27.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer will therefore launch on October 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Interestingly, there is no Nintendo Switch 2 version of this game. Could that still happen later?
