The game from Project Cloud Games and Perp Games will initially arrive on only one console family, then later make its way to the other current-gen hardware as well.
In this action RPG, we set out on a heroic adventure to save the world. Once prosperous, Arsiltus was swallowed by the void created by the destruction of the great relic, turning it into a land of death. Now our task is to find the pieces of the shattered great relic and close the void. Develop our character with various abilities, solve the mystery of Arsiltus, and lead the world back to prosperity. We are Arsiltus’s last hope. Roam freely through the collapsed world of The Relic: First Guardian while following an exciting story in this semi-open-world action RPG. Enjoy the thrill of exploring an apocalyptic fantasy world and the many action-packed experiences it offers.
Choose from five different weapon types that form the foundation of the combat system. Each weapon has its own unique abilities, which can be adapted to our playstyle. Set out as a guardian to collect the pieces of the great relics and lead the world back to prosperity. In the world of The Relic: First Guardian, characters do not have levels. Instead, we can strengthen our hero with runes, items, and crafting. Complete dungeons and defeat bosses to expand our world and develop our character to their fullest potential. Solve puzzles, gather relic fragments, and restore the world to its former glory.
System requirements have not yet been announced, so we cannot list them, which is strange considering the game’s release is not far away. The dark fantasy Souls-like The Relic: First Guardian will first launch for PlayStation 5 and PC on July 31. Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 ports will follow, arriving sometime this summer.
The South Korean studio first announced the game four years ago as a multiplayer action game under the name Project Relic, then the plan was to release it in early 2025. That was pushed to early 2026, then to May 26, and now perhaps there will not be another delay.
