Golem was announced during PlayStation Experience. It is going to be a PlayStation VR title, and it’s developed by Highware Games. We only heard about this virtual reality game just once since then (in a PlayStation Conversation video), but now, we got to hear several new details about this game.
Game Informer’s latest issue is focusing on virtual reality, so unsurprisingly, PlayStation VR and its games also get in the focus. In Golem, our protagonist will be a young girl called Twine. Sadly, she gets into an accident and suffers paralysis, which won’t allow her to move around that much. However, she will discover that she can control golems. These golems can be controlled at night – they will be able to discover and explore an ancient city. The player can upgrade them as well.
The control scheme is interesting: we will be able to control the golems by tilting our heads – Highware Games want to create a non-DualShock 4 control standard by this decision. The PlayStation Move will also be used for swordfights.
It sounds intriguing, but the control scheme makes us a little bit worried, though. If you forgot about this game, check out the PSX announcement trailer below:
Very interesting idea, the only one question is that: can it be enjoyable, or the controll will make it bullshit
