More than 4 million participants played the Destiny beta

The Destiny beta recently concluded on the PlayStation 4 and other platforms, and Bungie proclaimed that over 4.6 million people participated in the beta across all platforms. Destiny will be out on the PlayStation 4 and other platforms on September 9th.

PlayStation 4 and PS3 owners will receive exclusive Destiny content for a full year, and Sony will even sell a Destiny PlayStation 4 bundle, which will include a white PS4 console and controller.

We’ll have to wait for another six weeks to play the full game. Hopefully the beta gave enough feedback to developer Bungie to ensure a smooth launch — we certainly don’t want to see happen to Destiny what happened to Battlefield 4 last year.
