The Battlefield series has historically been a PC franchise, since it has its roots from there and PC players always outnumbered those on consoles. Besides, every PC versions always had more features. Well, that was until the PlayStation 4 came along.

Today that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both support 64-player multiplayer as well, the PC doesn’t offer the advantage it once had. Actually, Battlefield 4 is so popular among PlayStation 4 gamers, that the PS4 is now the leading platform — there are more PS4 owners playing Battlefield 4 than PC gamers.

As the graph above shows from P-Stats, trackers of select online multiplayer games, when Battlefield 4 launched, it has clearly favored by PC gamers. But over the past six months, and especially the last few months, the PlayStation 4 has taken a clear lead.
